Introducing ngVoices
We are looking at how best to engage with you, our ng homes tenants and residents, and how we could tailor the ways you can get involved to suit our modern day, busy lives.
We know meetings aren’t for everyone, so we are keen to hear more about how and when we can engage with our communities. We’re also looking at other options, including digital options. This could be something such as an online forum or even an ePanel.
Join the conversation and help shape the future of North Glasgow!
Why get involved?
By getting involved, you can:
- Support the wellbeing of your local community;
- Gain new skills and experience;
- Help strengthen local communities through events, tenant engagement days and more;
- Have a say in and help make decisions about services and assessing how we are doing against the goals we have set to achieve;
- Ensure we achieve value for money by monitoring our performance ...and much more!
Be involved - your way!
- Low commitment e.g. tenant consultation group, focus group: Looks at: local policies, new strategies, providing digital feedback. Flexible - share views from home or online at your convenience
- Medium commitment e.g. ng2 Board, ngps Board, Committees (ARC - Audit, Risk, & Compliance or FPR - Finance, Performance & Resources): Looks at: improving ng homes services and providing detailed group oversight. Boards/Committees meet 4 times per year. Focussed, manageable sessions.
- High commitment e.g. ng homes Board: Looks at the big picture for ng homes, high-level strategy, finance and risks. What's involved: meet 8 times per year. Participate in key strategic decisions and also serve on either ARC or FPR Committee. A leadership role.
