Community Information and Advice Day: Access Support and Stay Warm This Festive Season

ng homes is pleased to announce the next Community Information and Advice Day, aimed at connecting local residents with essential support and resources during the festive period. This event provides a unique opportunity for individuals to meet with a range of advice and support organisations to learn more about the assistance available to them.

Taking place on Tuesday 19 December from 11am-3pm at Saracen House, Possilpark, the Community Information and Advice Day offers a one-stop platform for individuals to discover more about what’s happening over the festive period, take advantage of one-on-one sessions with energy advisors, learn more about what will be open over the coming weeks as well as other initiatives providing support during the festive period.

One of the highlights of the event will be face-to-face sessions with HEAT advisors, a new partnership between ng homes and The Wise Group. Experts will be on hand to answer any questions about heating, fuel costs, or keeping homes warm during the winter months.

Paula Mailey, Community Development Team Leader (ng homes) said, “We are excited to host the Community Information and Advice Day, where members of the community can connect with various organisations and access crucial support services. The festive period can be challenging for many, and our aim is to provide resources and guidance to navigate through these times. We hope to see everyone there!”

This event is open to the public and all are welcome. Free hot food and drinks will be available throughout the day.
