North Glasgow Housing Association, Sustainable Business of the Year 

 

Content:

That the Parliament notes that North Glasgow Housing Association has won the Sustainable Business of the Year award in the Grow Green Awards; further notes that the award recognises local businesses and other organisations that have taken significant and practical steps to make themselves more environmentally sustainable; believes that the award recognises the steps taken by the association to becoming a more sustainable business, including promoting recycling and energy efficiency; welcomes the moves made by the association that benefit the organisation, its tenants and the wider community; congratulates it on this achievement, which comes on top of other recent awards, which have seen the association named in the Sunday Times list of the 100 best not-for-profit organisations and as one of the Top 90 companies in Scotland at the Scottish Business Awards, and wishes it every continued success.
